Picnic blanket

We are frequent guests in a forest park with even mosquitos not being an obstruction for us :3 Fresh air and one may dream a little that you are not in a megapolis, but somewhere in a small village.
Here is an idea concerning sewing a blanket on which the boys can play and read books.

Pieces of strong fabric, polyester and black fabric for back side (for practicality).

Cake pops

I cooked these cake pops for Julie's birthday party, which we celebrated in the open air. Because in Russia these pops are not well known, many have asked me about the recipe :3

What we need:
 300g  butter cookies
 50g    soft butter
 150g cream cheese
 sugar powder
 chocolate
 topping

Blend cookies.
Mix butter, sugar powder and cream cheese.
Mix well with cookies.
From this "dough" make small balls and put them in freezer for 30 min.
*after 30 min* join balls with sticks.
Melt chocolate.
Dip every ball into chocolate and then sprinkle with topping.
Put cake pops in a fridge.
15 minutes before serving put them out from the fridge.
* you can use polystyrene for holding your cake pops by sticking their wooden sticks into the polystyrene. :3

outdoor birthday party

Our friends' daughter Julie turned 3 and they decided to celebrate outside: where birds sing and squirrels jump :3

We had a great day! Little K hunted bugs and put them in toy cars ( oh my!), Little M very much liked the swing and all invited kids took turns swinging him. :)

Mosquito bitten but satisfied, we made it back home.
All next day our boys were asking me about going to the birthday party again :3
happy kids. happy parents.

3 year old Julie
